Job Description
  • Responsible for full spectrum of purchasing process.
  • Responsible to implement purchasing policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Source and negotiate with reliable vendors for the best pricing, terms, quality and delivery/service.
  • Maintain lowest material cost by sourcing for new source, perform cost-down activities and conduct price comparison.
  • Manage supplier process based on price, quality support capacity and reliability.
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking.
  • Perform budgeting, costing and cost saving after reviewing the management information available.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with new & existing key suppliers.
  • Develop, negotiate and administer purchasing agreement and contracts with suppliers in support of organization requirements.
  • Facilitate timely placement of Purchase Orders.
  • Ensure purchase are in compliance with company standard policy and procedures.
  • Prepare Purchase Orders for proper authorization and in compliance with organizational policy and procedures.
  • Prepare Purchase Order and liaise with suppliers to ensure all products are supplied and delivered are in accordance to Purchase Order.
  • Direct procurement policies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints.
  • Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal department.
  • Keep a constant check on inventory level and prepare monthly report.
  • Continuously explores the processes to improve the quality of work and enhancing the purchasing work cycle.
  • Assumes any other duties that may assigned by the Management from time to time
Requirement

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies /Administration/Management or equivalent.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the related field is required for this position.

Pro-active, enthusiastic and self-driven with high level of integrity.

Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, able to interact with project team, contractors, and suppliers

Computer literate e.g MS office.

Good organizational skills, highly motivated, flexible, result oriented and able to work independently.
